WBG KAM Benefits
The Knoxville Academy of Medicine is an East Tennessee medical society that by definition is an association, for the purpose of getting access to benefit options that otherwise would not be available to the individual medical practitioners or medical practices. Based upon the collective bargaining and buying power of the Knoxville Academy of Medicine, we have continued to negotiate for a full spectrum of benefits that are critical to saving the member physicians and their organizations, time, effort, energy, and money. For the KAM members to offer these benefits, it will aid in employee retention, productivity, and financial security for both their employees and physicians. The ultimate goal is for the individual and small group practices to gain access to benefits normally only available to the large group medical organizations with more than 250 employees.
The Knoxville Academy of Medicine has a goal of creating value for those individual practitioners and medical practices that are members. This value can come through great contacts, workshops, continuing education, etc.
Below we have created a list of benefits that are being provided to its members through knoxvillemedicine.org. The list of benefits will continue to expand over time as the marketplace changes and the Academy continues to grow as the leading medical society in East Tennessee.
